Holidays

Employees (including part timers and most agency and freelance workers) have the right to:

• 4.8 weeks (24 days for full-timers) paid leave each year - including public holidays
• This will increase to 5.6 weeks (28 days for full-timers) from April 2009
• 4 weeks paid holiday for full-timers who already get paid public holidays – see later section for more
• Pro-rated entitlement for part-timers
• Payment for untaken holidays on termination of employment
• Holiday rights from the start of employment
• Normal pay for holidays
