It is the company’s (or organisation’s or other appropriate body’s) policy to ensure that employees with a grievance relating to their employment can use a procedure which can help to resolve grievances as quickly as possible.

The Grievance Procedure is your mechanism for redress. All grievances will be dealt with seriously and confidentially. Whilst the company (organisation etc) may offer the procedure, it is for the employee specifically to request its operation. Any investigations will also take account of the rights of the individuals involved
