Statutory Consultation and communication

The EU Information and Consultation of Employees (ICE) regulations has made consultation mandatory for employers with more than 100 employees. From April 2008, this is extended to employers with 50 or more workers. The rules are complex and heavy penalties have already been handed down by employment tribunals for breaches of the rules.
